Camping and Seattle

We decided that we wanted to save up all our vacations and not do them throughout the summer but every weekend starting in August. We went camping one weekend with my family at the Spruces. It was fun on the way down from the Mountain we saw a mountain goat. It was awesome!!

Wade and I have always said we wanted to see one and we finally did. It was really pretty.

On Labor Day weekend we went camping at the Spruces again with Wade's family. Weston loves his cousins!! He gets a huge smile when he sees them and gets so excited!!

WE hiked up to Twin Lakes one of the days and it was really pretty. I have never been up there.

SEATTLE! We went to Seattle to go to my niece's baptism. It was a fun trip. We went to the Aquarium.

Here we are at Pike's Market.

Weston is such a cheese. Whenever I bring the camera out he gets huge smile on his face. It is so cute.

My two boys.

Here we are at the locks and the fish ladder. It was really cool. We watched them lower and raise boats to go through the dam. We went to the fish ladder for the salmon to get over the dam but there weren't any salmon jumping them. They were jumping out of the water everywhere but not the ladder.
We walked to the Sea Hawks stadium. It is humongous!! It would have been fun to go to a game. Then we went on the Underground Tour of Seattle. Other things we did was we went to Wicked!! I love that Show!!! Maelyn got baptized and we had a picnic at the park. We went out and picked blackberries that grow everywhere. It was so much fun!! It was fun to visit with Ryan, Kendra, and the kids.

We went to the Zoo last Wednesday and it was so much fun. The baby elephant was so stinking cute!! Weston had fun with his cousins and he loved the animals.
Now I am up to date on the blog and hopefully I will start keeping it that way. I will try hard.

Time for an Update

I know it has been along time since I have blogged. It just makes it much more exciting to read I think. :) This is what has happened in the last couple of months. Sorry it will be a little long, but mostly pictures.

Here is Weston doing his signature move the SUPERMAN!! He is so funny he would stick his legs straight out and then his arms were straight to his side and he would fly. He doesn't do it much anymore.

My two boys!! I Love them to Pieces!!

YEAH for the 4th of July! We went to the West Jordan Parade then family BBQ's all day then the Rodeo!! Here is Weston and Wade at the Rodeo. Weston discovered his tongue and was sticking it out all night. It was so funny.

We went to a Wright Family Reunion in July. It was so much fun!! We went to Pineview Res. and had fun playing in the sand and water! I got to go wake boarding which I haven't done forever!! Don't worry I didn't forget how to do it. Eli and I buried Wade's legs in the sand. It was a really fun trip!!

We then had an episode where Weston decided to turn stark white and lips bright blue and scared me half to death. We called 911 and they came but of course he was coming out of it when they showed up and I called our pediatrician and she wanted us to go get an EKG at Primary Children's the next day. Weston did really good and he hasn't done it since. The EKG was normal so we have no clue what he did. He just wanted to scare me.

In August Wade made me go to the Dr for my knee. In the beginning of July I did something to it running, and ever since I hadn't been able to walk up and down stairs get up and down from the floor, pretty much do anything. I thought that it would just get better, but after a month I gave in and went to the Dr. I had XRAYS and a MRI and I had a tear in my meniscus. The Dr told me I could wait it out and see if it gets better on its own, or they could go in and shave away the tear. I decided to go with the surgery. I am so glad I did!! It felt so much better even after surgery. I could walk on it after and even though it hurt from surgery the pain wasn't there. It is 100 times better then it was now but the bummer is is that the Dr told me I shouldn't be a runner. I could be a swimmer or a biker but not a runner.

Vernal

So we went to Vernal this last weekend overnight because Wade had to go for work and look at a job that they might bid so we tagged along. We stayed overnight. It was afun little trip not much to do in Vernal we went to the Museum and saw the dinosaurs and then came home. It was fun. Weston got his first dinosaur at the dinosaur museum. I'm pretty sure he was excited about that.

We had a good DAM time!!

Memorial day weekend we decided we needed to go on a little trip so we went to St. George. it was really fun. On Sunday we decided to go to the Hoover Dam since I had never been there, and Wade wanted to eat at the Orleans brunch buffet in LV. It was pretty fun. The Dam traqffic wasn't very fun because it took forever but the Dam is pretty cool and the bridge that they are constructing to allow another way around the bridge was amazing!! Here are a few picutres from the trip.

Weston's first buffet.

Here we are in the power plant of the Dam. It was pretty amazing. I can't believe how much water goes through the dam.

There is the new bridge in the background. It was awesome!!

Weston's first time swimming!!

That was our exciting trip. It wasn't to bad with him driving. He would get fussy and start crying and then give up on the crying and start wining it was so funny. I just laugh. Poor kid his mom jsut laughs at him instead of having sympathy.

About Time!!

So i guess it is about time to give an update of the Wright family. Well pretty much it will be about Weston and mostly just pictures. Weston is of course adorable!! I just want to eat him up!! He has found his hands and they are in his mouth non stop when he is awake. I am still waiting for him to reach for things. We are working on it but I guess he will do it when he is ready!

Here Weston is with his cousin Easton. Easton is not quite sure about the crying baby he is holding.

We bought him some sweet shades for the summer time. They were a little big on his head here but he is starting to grow into them better.

Here we are on his blessing day. Wade gave such a nice blessing and we had all our family over for lunch afterwards. It was a great day and Weston was such a good baby during his blessing. They said that he fell asleep during it.

Getting ready to play XBOX.

For Easter my sister-in-law was here from DC and so we got together and made these easter egg cake on a stick things. They turned out pretty good. We made eggs and chicks. They were pretty good too.

This is Weston being held by his aunt Cassity and his cousin Preston.

The Easter Bunny brought Weston some fun toys. We are still working on the reaching thing but he sure grabs on to them and striaght to the mouth they go.

Here we are in our Easter outfits. I decided to get a sweater instead of a dress and Weston sure is handsome in his outfit.

Last but not least I took this picture yesterday with him sitting in his bumbo. He is just so small but he sits in it really well.

That is us in a nut shell. I went back to work last Monday for six hours a week and it was sad to leave him but it wasn't that hard. I know that he is in good hands with my mom and mother-in-law.

Okay so one more thing here is a video of Weston talking. This is when he jsut started now he is going non-stop!!! It is so much FUN!!!

Time for an Update

I thought it was time for my monthly update. I thought that having a baby would make it so I would blog more frequently but it hasn't so I am going to still try to stick to my monthly blogging. Here is Weston in the beginning of February. He is so stinking cute and small.

Here he is on my birthday!! I bought this hat for him because he has a big head and the hats I had for him were getting to small and squeezing his poor little head.

Here he is the first time with the binky. He had no problem taking it.

This is his favorite position to sleep in. I wrap him up good but he manages to wiggle his little arms out and I find him sleeping like this in the morning. It is pretty funny. You can hear him struggling at night to free his arms.

Here is a picture of us at the Draper Temple Open House. My sister and her kids came down to visit and we all went. He was a good baby and slept the whole time. I had him in one of those sling things and I felt so bad for him he looked so squished but must have not minded it since he slept.

He has started to smile at me when I talk to him. It is the cutest thing ever!! He has a pretty dang cute smile!!

I hope you like the pictures! I can't believe that it has been 6 weeks since he was born! I will post some more pictures that were taken by Angie Seare when he was two weeks. They are amazing!! My computer is stupid and doesn't want to read discs so I will get them on when I am at a different computer.

He is so much fun. The week after we had brought him home from the hospital I had been pee'd on and then when they poo and you don't have the diaper on it sprays pretty good it is like a pooping bullet. It was so funny.

ANNOUNCING...

WESTON WADE WRIGHT
Weston was born on Tues 1/27/09 at 2:15 am. We went to the hospital Sunday night to begin the induction. Pitocin was started Monday morning and then never ending day started!! We didn't think that my induction was going to take that long and we almost had to go back for a c-section twice but Weston finally cooperated and was delivered vaginally!!

We are so excited to have him here finally and that everything turned out well. He has the cutest little cry and is just so fun to hold and look at. He is definitely one of my most favorite people in the world next to Wade. Here are some more pictures.
